What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a focused state of awareness that allows me to work with your subconscious mind to help you make positive changes in your life. It is used for self improvement behavior modification.

What does it feel like when I'm hypnotized?

For many people, hypnosis feels like a dreamy state of mind. Almost as if they are daydreaming. It is very relaxing. Most people don't want to come out of hypnosis! You will never be stuck in hypnosis. You are able to come out of it if you want. You can open your eyes, talk, and even walk around if you really wanted to. Though clients don't usually walk around. You have total control of yourself. You are the driver and I am the copilot.

What if it doesn't work on me?

Everyone is capable of being hypnotized. During a session, if the thought comes up "Am I hypnotized?", it is a sign that you are.

How does hypnosis work?

Our total mind power consists of 12% conscious mind and 88% subconscious mind. When you are trying to make a change in your life, usually the 12% is being used. In hypnosis, I am able to access your 88% subconscious mind power through hypnosis. You will work with your 12% conscious mind and I will work with the 88%- together we can have a 100% effective rate.

Can you do a hypnosis session for my child and will it work just as well?

Yes. I am trained to do sessions for clients who are ages 4 and up. Children have a shorter attention span than teens and adults, therefore the actual hypnosis portion of the session will be shorter.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you'd like to work on and how many issues you'd like to work on. For example, a fear or phobia may only require one hypnosis session. Dream therapy may require a few. Some people may need 10 sessions. You will know how many you need.

Do phone sessions really work?

Yes, they work just as well. As long as you can hear my voice, it will work just as well as the in-office sessions.

What My Clients Are Saying ( Initials only for privacy!!!!)

“Before even meeting Amy in person, I knew I was going to like her. We spoke on the phone before our first session, and it was like being hugged by a warm pot of honey, or your favorite aunt you haven’t seen in ages. I was instantly comfortable in her presence, and surprised myself with how honest and forthcoming I was in our discussions. Her kindness, generosity and intuition knows no bounds. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me so far, and will continue to put her teachings into practice to help myself in the future. I feel stronger in myself than I have in a long time and it is all thanks to Amy!”

"I feel better after leaving a session and it continues with the steps Amy showed me. ". N .M.

" I stopped smoking after two sessions and haven't smoked since my sessions with Amy!!!!!!" M. L.

" Our daughter loved eating her vegetables after a couple of sessions with Amy. Their study skills and listening skills improved too. My child always looks forward to seeing the magic during her visits with Amy. " Parent of young child

" I came to see Amy for self esteem issues and doubt about my acting career. I can honestly say after my work with Amy I have booked more jobs and found more confidence in my unquie abilities. ". SE

"Amy's insightful, open approach has really helped me to identify the true obstacles I have been facing. Her non-judgmental demeanor has allowed me to dive into places hidden in my psyche that before were "out of bounds", and I now feel more free to be who I am...stronger, wiser and sound in mind and heart. Thank you, Amy, for helping me remove those barriers that I placed, and giving me the tools to be everything I intended to be, without self-imposed limits. I am eternally grateful." LM
